The doormat is made to be outdoors, however, it should be kept in a sheltered area such as a garage, patio, covered entryway or similar where it is not getting saturated with rain, snow, sprinklers, etc. Wet shoes (and paws) are fine but complete saturation of any coir doormat can cause fading, discoloration, and bleeding. Prodijay Co. is not responsible for any damage caused by using the doormat incorrectly. If it does get saturated, I recommend moving it to grass, mulch or similar so that it can drain off water and dry out completely.
